Tajine with chicken and peas


Ingredients:

400 grames of chicken
2 Potatoes – cut them in rounded slices
1 Corgette – cut it in thick sticks
1 Onion – cut it in rounded slices
1 Carrot – cut it in sticks
2 Tomatoes – cut them in rounded slices
2 cloves of garlic – crush them
Olives – 100 grames
Peas – 300 grames
Parsley
Olive oil

Spices:

1 tbs Salt
1 tbs Black pepper
1 tbs Turmeric
1 tbs Paprika
1 tbs Coriander
1 tbs Ginger


How you prepare it:

- Place the tajine pan on a low fire and let it until the pan is warm
- In the tajine pan put some olive oil and leave it 1 minute
- Add onions and cover it for 5 minutes
- Add the carrots and cover for 5 minutes
- Add chicken, crushed garlic, spices and half cup of water. Cover it for 10 minutes.
- Add potatoes and corgette. Put more water (one cup). Spray on the top some salt and pepper. Cover it for 20 minutes.
- Add peas and cover for 10 minutes
- Add tomatoes, olives and parsley. Let it cook for 15 minutes.
- Add more water if it is necessary for the tajine not to burn.
