Mushrooms filled with cheese

Mushrooms are a good source of riboflavin and niacin and contain no fat or cholesterol.

Ingredients:

10 Champignon Mushrooms
100 gr Natural Cheese
1 Red pepper
Green parsley
Black pepper

How you prepare it:

- Peel the mushrooms and wash them with cold water
- Take off the stalks from the mushrooms
- Finely grate the cheese
- Cut the pepper in circles
- Place the mushrooms in a tray for oven
- Pour a little bit of black pepper into the mushrooms
- Fill the mushrooms with grated cheese
- Add red pepper (in order to form a handle and to make the mushroom looks like a small basket) and a leaf of parsley on top
- Place the tray in preheated oven for 20 minutes or till the mushrooms are done

Tips:

Recent studies have shown shiitake and reishi mushrooms are potential cancer-fighters. Reishi extracts have been shown to stop the growth of cancerous tumors and also produce an antihistamine action which can help to control allergies.
Shiitake mushrooms contain a compound called lentinan, which is being used as a cancer treatment in Japan.
